Event Manager at Sheffield DocFest

For my fourth year at DocFest, I returned as the Event Manager tasked with delivering over 30 individual social events across the 6 day festival.

These ranged from exciting afterparties for hundreds of guests, to private networking brunches and drinks receptions.

I took all events from concept to delivery, working with tight budgets to deliver high end experiences for clients including; World of Wonder (RuPaul’s Drag Race), Netflix and National Geographic.

My knowledge of the festival and years of experience proved vital in delivering a complex schedule of events.

During the festival, we encountered last minute staff changes due to sickness. The event briefs and documentation I had prepared meant that I was able to handover duties to new team members smoothly, without negative impact on the event’s success.
