These ranged from exciting afterparties for hundreds of guests, to private networking brunches and drinks receptions. I took all events from concept to delivery, working with tight budgets to deliver high end experiences for clients including; World of Wonder (RuPaul’s Drag Race), Netflix and National Geographic. My knowledge of the festival and years of experience proved vital in delivering a complex schedule of events. During the festival, we encountered last minute staff changes due to sickness. I provided key support to various stakeholders including the London Met Police and St Johns Ambulance service. I managed the on-site medical, security and parking teams giving them daily operational briefings. My experience and welfare-first approach meant I was able to take care of guest and staff emergencies. I also handled any guest complaints, working with the FOH manager to offer suitable solutions. I went above and beyond to ensure the stewarding team were supported, especially during adverse weather. Throughout the weekend, I remained the main point of contact for guests, volunteers and traders in the Premium Campsite, reporting any issues to event control. I oversaw the setup of the Arcade Tent containing retro arcade games and consoles, and I setup two separate workshop tents that would host a series of crafting workshops over the weekend. I also supported the Area Manager with bringing over 20 traders and stall exhibitors onto the site safely and getting them positioned. Throughout the weekend I managed the three tents, ensuring they ran smoothly, dealing with any technical or guest issues. I planned and delivered multiple high end social events including drinks receptions, awards ceremonies, social dinners and the staff wrap party. I led on all aspects of event delivery, working closely with venue managers to negotiate the best value for money. I delivered events at popular Leeds venues including Everyman Theatre, Tattu restaurant, The Howard Assembly Rooms and Headrow House.
